Why choose GREENLITE Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps?
GREENLITE’s next generation cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) series leads the pack when it comes to technological innovation. These fluorescent lights act as a direct replacement for incandescent lighting with smooth dimming down to 5%, a lamp life of up to 25,000 hours, and can save up to 85% in energy costs. On top of it all, our CCFLs have indoor/outdoor application, are ideal for rapid cycling (frequently turning on and off), and are RoHS compliant!

CCFL stands for “Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp.” These may look similar to CFLs (“Compact Fluorescent Lamps)” but they use entirely different technology and have different features, benefits and applications.
Most notably, CCFLs offer 100% to 5% smooth dimming capability and lamp life of up to 25,000 hours. They can save up to 75-85% in energy costs and are suitable for situations in which they will be turned on and off frequently (rapid cycled).
CCFLs cost more than CFLs, but they last longer, and if dimming is important for you, or you need rapid cycling with no decrease in lamp life, these could make sense for you. Typical applications include hatcheries/poultry farms where light control is needed and energy savings is key. |
